How to clear a bathroom sink drain with a plunger
You really should try this before you call Magic Plumbing it doesn’t always work but in many cases it will work if the blockage is a minor one.
Be sure the plunger’s suction cup is large enough to cover the drain opening or your work will be an exercise in futility. You can buy a plunger at any hardware store for less than $10.
1) Fill the clogged basin with enough water to cover the plunger cup.
3) Use wet rags to block any outlets—a sink overflow or second sink—and create a vacuum.
4) Use 15 to 20 smooth and strong strokes once you have a tight seal.
5) Continue plunging create slow of water within the pipe that will create a force to push past the clog.
Plunge for awhile cremember create a suction dont let air escape the small overflow at the rim of the basin.
If still no success call Magic Plumbing a San Francisco Bay Area Plumber at 888-588-7606
